When Health Food Goes Wrong

While it’s nice to see that some restaurants are at least trying to incorporate healthier eating into their menus, sometimes the thought isn’t all that counts. Many restaurants “healthy” choices aren’t all that healthy at all!  For example, the Blimpie Veggie Supreme has 1,106 calories — that’s the equivalent of four and a half McDonald’s hamburgers! The new book, Eat This, Not That, shows you how to navigate through menus and chose the best option, like in the case of Blimpie where it suggests the Turkey and Provolone 6-inch sandwich, which only has 393 calories.  To see more, you can read the whole story here.
