There’s Always Room For Jello!

Jello is the go-to dessert for some people. I mean…why not? It’s quick, easy, low in fat and calories and a popular alternative to those heavy, rich desserts we all love. It truly follows its slogan because its so light on your stomach and on your waistline– there’s always room for Jello!

But lately, I’ve been getting tired of eating the same plain Jello recipes over and over. Jello does have a bad rep because of its use as a hospital food, but you can actually do so much more with it. Jello can be used in pies, molds, with fruit, in preserves and in a lot of fun  ways kids will love. Since Jello is so simple to make, you can make a project out of it and make it with the kids. These are low-mess and low-fuss recipes that you’ll love!

1. Strawberry Jello Pie with Graham Cracker Crust: This dessert gives you the best of both worlds. You can have your Jello and your pie too!
   
2. Brandy Coffee Jello: This is a grown-up version of a childhood classic. It has a sophisticated flavor with that same easy to make ingredient.
3. Awesome Jello Rhubarb-Pineapple Jam: Whoever said making your own jam wasn’t easy clearly hasn’t seen our recipe! This jam is sweet, fruity and just sticky enough. Use it on your English muffins for breakfast, as a french toast topper or for a kicked-up PB&J.
