The Beauty of the Crock-Pot

The Crock-Pot is a thing of beauty. You throw ingredients into it in the morning before work, set a timer, leave for the office, and by the time you get home, a delicious hot meal is waiting for you. It doesn’t get much better than that (unless of course you have someone cooking you meals while you’re out at work). One of my favorite things to make in the Crock-Pot is a berry crumble dessert. I use fresh and frozen fruit tossed with a little sugar and a crust made from oats, sugar, flour, milk and oil. It only takes about 3 hours to come together and is delicious with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Over on RecipeLion, we have many great Crock-Pot recipes, everything from soup to dessert. Take a night off and try one of these great desserts.
