Remember When?

Remember when you were a kid, how much fun it was to cook with your mom or dad? Well, I do, and I get a lot of joy out of cooking and baking with my 2 1/2-year-old son. Last weekend, it occurred to me that we had never made Rice Krispies Treats together — the quintessential, no-bake dessert.   Well, we made a batch.   You should have seen how cute he was, standing on a folding chair in front of the cabinet, waiting to drop the marshmallows into the pot.  It was adorable!  We used the full-sized marshmallows, instead of the minis, and the treats tasted just as good!
