As a Waco, TX native (home of Charles Alderton, the inventor of Dr. Pepper), I’ve learned that Dr. Pepper has many more uses than just a satisfying soda. Local shops sell Dr. Pepper barbeque sauce and syrup topping. And the Dr. Pepper Museum’s Website offers recipes for Dr. Pepper wings, jelly and jell-o. The museum is also known for its hot Dr. Pepper–think hot chocolate but Dr. Pepper instead. All very tasty!
