With school starting up again it’s inevitable that you and the kids will begin to feel a little under the weather. With the recent resurgence of the H1N1 (swine flu) we can only hope that you and your family are weathering the flu storm with as few coughs, sneezes and headaches as possible! I often wonder if the all the buzz about the flu is a bunch of media hullabaloo anyway, but you can never be too careful!
Here are a few comforting recipes that will be easy on your stomach during this cold season. Make sure you’re getting lots of nutrient rich foods that will boost your immunities, meaning lots of vegetables, lean meats and whole grains!
Amish-Style Chicken and Corn Soup
Herb Turkey Breast and Vegetables
Apple and Brown Rice Pilaf with Thyme
